We are elated that you are considering enrolling your child in Leavenworth County's award winning center. As the only childcare center recipient of the 2004 Leavenworth area development (LAD) award, we welcome you to our school. We look forward to developing a long lasting relationship with your family. We have an open door policy for all our parents and welcome your input to our parent advisory committee.

Serving: Basehor (local), Bonner Springs (9 miles, 12 minutes), Piper (6 miles, 9 minutes), Tonganoxie (8 mi., 10 minutes), school districts with transportation to and from local schools including St. Pat's, Gensis and other open door schools

Hours of Operation
6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday
Accommodating children infants (2 weeks) through 12 years of age

Full time fees vary by age group, please call for information
Tuition is due weekly on Mondays
Enrollment fee (yearly registration supply fee) = $35.00 single child or $50.00 family
No extra fees for transportation to and from schools

SRS Approved
Confirmation by caseworker is required prior to start date.

Our goal is to provide loving care while progressively developing children through a competent learning environment. Our center has been set-up with learning activities, which children are taught to use along with appropriate behavior in a learning environment.

Expectation of Parents
Parents are to enter building using keypad entry.
Children are to be signed in & out daily.
Children are to be brought into the classroom.
Parents are responsible to inform the teacher of who is attending that day and communicate any concerns that may affect child's day (illness, sleepiness, behavioral issues, etc.).
Parents must inform director/administrator of any personnel informational updates.
Take home laundry items weekly (bed sheet, blanket, change of clothing).
Center provides baby-wipes, but diapers are to be provided by parents along with any ointment/powder.

Enrollment packet with Kansas state forms are required for attendance and must be completed and returned to the center prior to first day of attendance.

Summer Program
Numerous activities are offered geared for fun and learning during the summer months. Field trips to area museums, educational and nature trips are conducted. Bowling, skating, mini-golf, movies as well as swimming, gymnastics and physical exercise are planned. Trips to local establishments such as Cabelas, T-bones, The Kansas Speedway, a dude ranch, equestrian horse barn, Schlagle Environmental Library, Moon Marble and many more are scheduled.
